DOGE — the First AltcoinThat Bypassed BTC in Google Trends

The coin, which has made more than 3,000 millionaires in 2021, receives more attention online than Bitcoin

Judging by the history of google search Trends, DOGE far surpasses BTC in popularity. Google users have been looking for it so often lately that cryptocurrency has become a real mainstream.

The interest is the fact that for the first time Bitcoin was defeated. And not ETH or other potentially strong cryptocurrency, but a meme coin, which is only joked about, but not taken seriously!

Last week’s results put Dogecoin on Google Trends at 56/100 points. Whereas Bitcoin had only 48/100 points.

Within a year, interest in DOGE also soared to a significant level. Cryptocurrency rose to $0.7, and to 1 dollar was not so far. This price bar no longer looks unreal.

In 2021, interest in cryptocurrency grew, thanks to Twitter, PR by celebrities, including Elon Musk, as well as groups of enthusiasts, such as “Reddit Army”, who talk about cryptocurrencies to the masses of Internet users.

At the time of writing, DOGE is trading at $0.469 on Binance. After ETH there was a pullback, but the bulls again tried to push the cryptocurrency up.

In any case, the coin-joke is now in fourth place in the top cryptocurrencies according to CoinMarketCap. And this is a great result!
